About Us

The Development and Alumni Relations Division has two key roles: cultivating long-term relationships with our alumni, friends and supporters, and securing additional resources to support the University's strategic development objectives.

Alumni Relations

With over 130,000 active members, the alumni network offers exclusive ways to connect with fellow alumni across the globe, both online and in person. Join our professional and social groups and events; keep in touch with University developments through our bi-annual magazine and monthly e-newsletter; and take advantage of job advertisements and the careers service at Cardiff. Lifelong membership is automatic and free, and you can register online today.

Development

For over 125 years, Cardiff has tackled the biggest issues in society and is known for its excellence, achievements and progress. The University is a registered charity (no. 1136855) and we work with trusts, foundations, companies, philanthropic individuals and other stakeholders across the globe to raise funds for ground-breaking research projects, scholarships and bursaries, and improved facilities.

Our fundraising is accredited by the Institute of Fundraising and the Fundraising Standards Board. Your gift, no matter what size, signals strong confidence in Cardiff University students and staff, and their ability to make a difference.
