Changing Lives: Scholarships and Bursaries

We know the benefits of a Cardiff education and we aim to widen access for students regardless of their financial backgrounds. The University has invested £4m in scholarships and bursaries for 2012 but your help is invaluable in offering education to those who would otherwise be denied it.

Cardiff Fund Scholarships

The Cardiff Fund facilitates scholarships and bursaries to students from the UK and abroad. Donors can choose to fund a student from a specific course or country, or can offer support to anyone in need. Last year donors helped scholars including:

Cardiff Student Alumni Award

Recently the Cardiff Fund has been helping students with subsistence and travel costs as they travel to work placements and conferences across the globe. The first two people to benefit from the fund tell their stories:
