Dear alumni,
Welcome to ShareNews, offering you some fantastic videos, news, events, and more.
It's been a busy semester in the School; as well as getting used to a new school name, we've had over 600 new students, four new colleagues, and a new Honorary Fellow, Dr Tony Robinson (pictured above). However, we've always got time to keep in touch with our graduates, and hope you welcome some news from your old Humanities block.
Some significant news at Cardiff is that the Humanities Building will be renamed as the John Percival Building on 29 November, in honour of our much esteemed and missed colleague, John Percival OBE, former Head of History and Archaeology, Professor of Ancient History, and Pro Vice-Chancellor. We would be delighted to you welcome you and your family back to the naming ceremony - come and meet staff, students, alumni and share a few refreshments in your old student building. Please reply to this email if you would like to come along and we'll send you more details.
We're always keen to feature more of your stories and news - so if you have something great to share, please get in touch! I'll be delighted to hear from you.
Remember, you can always see the latest news on our website or by joining us on Facebook.
Very best wishes, Laura
