What do we fundraise for?

Research

Through our world-class research, we aim to answer some of the world's biggest questions:

How can we improve survival rates for cancer?
Why are there few effective treatments for patients suffering from neurodegenerative diseases?
What can we do to build a sustainable way of life for future generations?

Other research at Cardiff explores our cultural world, across heritage, religion, literature and architecture, as well as the conservation of endangered species and climate change with schemes like the Otter Project, and the Danau Girang Field Centre.
